A toy script makes a connected device move in time with a scene. Most VR porn sites call them interactive scripts or toy sync; the common file format is the funscript. Several sites now include scripts with a membership, so it is worth knowing how they work before you pay.

What a funscript is

A small text file that sits next to a video, with the same name. It lists positions over time: at this second, move to this point. A player reads the file while the video plays and sends those positions to a device.

Because it is just a timeline, one script works with any compatible device and player.

Which devices use them

• Linear strokers are what funscripts were made for: they move up and down to match the script. This is the best experience.
• Vibrating toys can follow scripts too, through software that turns movement into vibration strength. It works, but it is a translation, not a match.

Check that your device lists funscript or "interactive video" support before buying it for this.

Which players sync them
