VR Bangers review

The short version

VR Bangers is one of the studios that set the bar for VR picture quality: scenes in 4K to 8K, careful lighting, colour grading closer to a mainstream film, and well-known performers.

On the yearly plan it costs $6.95 a month, which is one of the best prices for a premium studio. Month-to-month at $24.95 is poor value by comparison. So: buy, but only the yearly plan.

What you get for the money

Membership covers 850+ scenes with weekly releases, streaming and downloads, and free toy sync scripts. The catalogue is smaller than a multi-studio platform, but one production team makes every scene, so quality stays consistent.

Lifetime at $250 equals about three years of the yearly plan. Only worth it if you are sure you will still watch VR Bangers in three years.

Picture quality

This is the reason to choose VR Bangers. On a Quest 3 or a PC headset the 8K scenes are noticeably sharper than older 5K and 6K content. On an older Quest 2 you will still see a difference, but less of one.

Headsets and apps

The site works with all major headsets and phones. PLAY'A, their own free player, is the easiest way to watch at full quality; any good VR video player works for downloaded files.

The VR Bangers family

The same team runs niche sites, each with its own membership: VR Conk (cosplay and parody), BlowVR, VR Smash, VRB Gay, VRB Trans, AR Porn and Dezyred. If one niche is what you want, go straight to that site.

Who should pick something else

• You want the most scenes per dollar. VRPorn.com gives you hundreds of studios for $9.95 a month on its yearly plan.
• You only pay month-to-month. At $24.95 there are better-value options.

Verdict

Buy the yearly plan. At $6.95 a month, VR Bangers is one of the best buys in VR for picture quality. Skip the month-to-month price.
