Dezyred review

The short version

Dezyred is not a video site and not a 3D game. It sits in between: real performers filmed in 360° video, up to 8K, where you choose what to say and do and the story branches. Think of it as a choose-your-own-adventure in VR, made by the team behind VR Bangers.

You pay per game with credits instead of a monthly membership. Signing up is free and each story starts free, so you can see whether the format works for you before you spend anything.

Our verdict is wait for a deal: the format is genuinely different from anything else we cover, but pay-per-game adds up quickly. The Deal of the Week takes 50% off one title, so the smart move is to try the free starts, pick the game you actually want and buy it when it is on that deal.

How it works

Each title is a short interactive story. You talk to the performer through dialogue choices, look around the room for interactive objects, and your choices lead to different scenes and endings. Titles are labelled by difficulty (easy, medium, hard) and by size (how many scenes they contain), and you earn badges as you play.

Premium videos also support toy scripts, so a connected interactive toy follows the action.

What it costs

There is no flat price. You buy credits as a one-off pack or a monthly refill, then spend them on the games and scenes you want. Dezyred does not publish credit prices on its public pages; you see the packs after the free sign-up.

That makes it hard to compare directly with a membership. As a rule of thumb: if you want hours of content every week, a library subscription such as VRPorn.com or VR Bangers gives far more for the money. If you want a few memorable interactive experiences, Dezyred is the only network site that does this.

Headsets and apps

Dezyred plays through PLAY'A, the free player from the same team. On Quest: install PLAY'A, choose Add new website, enter dezyred.com and log in. It supports Quest 2, Quest 3 and 3S, Apple Vision Pro and Vive XR Elite, and PC VR headsets through SteamVR. You need a stable connection; pre-downloading helps on slow Wi-Fi.

See our Quest 3 setup guide if you are new to sideloading apps or setting up a player.

Who should pick something else

• You want to watch, not play. A library membership is better value: VRPorn.com for variety, VR Bangers for one premium studio.
• You want 3D sandbox games. Interactive video has fixed scenes. For build-your-own scenes, see Virt-A-Mate and our best VR porn games.
• You want a predictable monthly bill. Credits are easy to overspend; set a budget or use the one-off packs.

Verdict

Dezyred is the most polished take on interactive VR porn with real performers, in up to 8K. Start with the free openings, choose one story you like, and buy it on the Deal of the Week. Do not treat it as a replacement for a video membership.
